New local area telephone number: 01553 609933
Edited by Jane Hill: A building project to create more efficient and patient–focused mental health services in West Norfolk has been completed. The Fermoy Unit, based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn, Chatterton, and Thurlow House, both on the Chatterton site, Goodwin’s Road, are part of Norfolk and Waveney Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. One of the improvements includes a new telephone system dedicated to the mental health service. The new telephone number is: 01553 609933. The changes are part of a project called ‘Building Success in the West’, which is designed to improve the delivery of NHS care.
The work, which was completed this summer, included developments to the reception at the Fermoy Unit, as well as three other bases in the west of Norfolk; Chatterton House, North House and Thurlow House.

Employees boost funding for good causes
If you run a business and your staff search the web at work you could help to raise money by using a leading charity fund–raising search engine. According to www.easysearch.org.uk, an average searcher can raise £25 a year by using easysearch and as businesses make substantially more searches than individuals, they could really boost funds for good causes locally, and across the UK. Easysearch is a ‘super’ search engine, that features the results from Yahoo!, Bing, Ask.com, MIVA and many more. This innovative approach to search results helps to make www.easysearch.org.uk perfect for businesses – and help to provide much–needed support to good causes at the same time, whenever employees search the web.
